A New Chapter: ABCUL Rebrands to All Together Money

Starting Tuesday, 14 April 2026, the Association of British Credit Unions Limited (ABCUL)—our national representative body—has officially rebranded to All Together Money.

This is more than just a fresh logo. It represents a unified shift in how the credit union movement presents itself to the public, the government, and the financial world.

A Name That Speaks for Itself

For years, ABCUL has been the backbone of support for credit unions across the country. The new name, All Together Money, was chosen to reflect exactly what we stand for: a collective movement where people and credit unions work best when they work together.

It positions our sector as a powerful network built on connection rather than competition. It’s about sharing ideas, tackling industry challenges, and pushing for better outcomes for every single member.

What Stays the Same

While the name has changed, the core mission remains untouched. All Together Money continues to be:

  • The largest network of credit unions in Great Britain.

  • A co-operative, owned and governed by its members.

  • A powerful voice representing our interests to the government, regulators, and the media.

They will continue to support Gateway Credit Union with essential guidance, training, and the regulatory representation we need to serve you better.

Stronger Together

The driving force behind this rebrand is unity. By adopting a clearer, more accessible identity, the movement can strengthen its influence when it comes to shaping fair finance policies and raising national awareness.

Through shared forums and digital platforms, credit unions can collaborate more effectively, learning from one another to solve problems and improve the services we offer our local communities.

Why This Matters for Gateway Members

For us here at Gateway Credit Union, this rebrand is a significant step forward. A stronger national identity helps to:

  1. Raise Awareness: Making more people aware of the benefits of joining a credit union.

  2. Build Trust: Strengthening the reputation of ethical, community-focused finance.

  3. Amplify Your Voice: Ensuring that the needs of our members are heard loud and clear at a national level.

"When credit unions grow stronger, the communities they serve grow stronger too."

Looking to the Future

All Together Money sets a clear ambition: to build a more connected and influential movement across Great Britain.

At Gateway, we are proud to be part of this network. It’s a reminder that while we focus on serving our local members, we are part of a much larger mission. When we move forward together, we make a bigger difference.
