Important Information Regarding How we Process Your Payments

  • Any Loan Repayments and Attached Savings due to Gateway Credit Union will always be deducted first from any amounts received.
  • Any remaining amounts, including full amounts for members with a nil loan balance, will be safely deposited into your GCU Shares unless stated otherwise.
  • To deposit amounts across multiple savings accounts (e.g. Shares, Christmas Savings, Special Events etc.) please let us know.
  • In accordance with our Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud Prevention Policies, large, suspicious and/or unexpected payments received by GCU may be subject to 2 weeks clearance before they can be withdrawn.
  • Other Saving Methods

If you don’t use online banking and your employer isn’t a payroll partner of ours yet, you can have one or more of your benefits paid directly into your GCU account.
