Debt Recovery Officer - Gateway and Newport Credit Unions
Full or Part Time, £18,000-£20,000 per annum (or pro rata if part time)
Sometimes Credit Union members stop making loan repayments and fail to respond to calls and letters. The role of the Debt Recovery Officer is to visit them and make an appropriate arrangement to pay, taking into account their circumstances, and to pursue formal recovery options if an agreement cannot be reached.
You will cover a wide geographical area, with a high degree of flexibility. Working closely with the credit controllers in both credit unions, you will be highly organised and plan your time to be as effective as possible. A full driving license, business use insurance and use of a car are therefore essential.
For an informal discussion about the role, please call Sara Burch on 01495 742500.
Closing date 22nd March, Interviews on 30th March 2020.
Please note that due to the Coronavirus outbreak we are unable to interview as planned and will be contacting the shortlisted applicants
